I really have no idea on how many students have the time and the plan of utilizing a vital database in their lives. The alumni database.

Fear of knowing the unknown has always existed, but, how many have really tried to reach their alumni and have a talk to understand and to take an opinion on the industry in which they are working?

Country’s topmost institutes are flourishing with good amount of sustainability with one of the major reasons being, having a healthy alumni network. They stay in touch to explain the market forces and to have right level of anticipation on what can be next.

This is a healthy procedure to keep oneself ready for the change. This is important both for the institutions and students. The reason is simple, information is vital.

Now I cant help with color/ complexion. But I have some suggestions on language improvement :)

We are usually impressed by the ones who can talk good English. We do not often realize if the person is a good communicator or they want to create flamboyance through language.

Here are some points that one should keep on mind while practicing for any speech or if you desire to get rid of stammering and improve fluency.

Point number 1: Read aloud!! This time you will record your voice. That’s the beauty of this activity. Your brain will next identify the flaws in speech. Record and record. This will improve your fluency over a week’s time.

Point number 2: Reduce the speed at which you talk. Speed which is ideal for your thoughts and the time your brain takes to articulate and then you talk, yes, that is called as effective communication.

In simple terms it should not be difficult for you to repeat your last spoken sentence without missing a single word.

These two points are really simple, practical and easy to try.

Now pick your mobile, read from a paper or book or the gadget and start playing your voice recording 🙂

Lack of right information in the RIGHT TIME has been changing many lives and are drifted towards impassioned career path. This is a pain that can haunt one’s entire life.

There are also institutions which have alumni network just for the sake of it and with lest activities. This can ruin the younger generation depriving from information and clarity. Valuable resource has to be tapped in every way possible and alumni network is very important in this context.

Are you thinking of how to begin this networking? As usual, go ahead and search on the social media sites and give it a head start. Utilize the resource in case you are one amongst those, who is not making the best out of it. LinkedIn is one of the best database to tap on the education information.

Kakka Muttaaaai!!! Told the strength of value system :)

I am sure.. quite a lot of them would have watched the movie by now.

The most interesting and compelling part of the movie- buying the Pizza without diminishing your value system when earning 15 INR per day is a challenge.

We know our society is divided in various ways, yet, their lifestyle showed the value of every penny. One of the segments in the movie showed how the kids wanted to earn money by dropping the drunkards home, so that they earn more money to buy their yummy pizza.

Marketing and selling is a skill imbibed in every human being’s brain. When you want your parent to buy a gadget for you, marketing it to your parents is a skill.

When you want to have a party, you market your favorite restaurant. This list is never ending.

When the siblings wanted to buy a pizza, their determination towards it paved N number of ways.

Determination is so strong that it drives you to make your own path and yet, it is done without breaking the value system and the morale. That was the most outstanding part this movie showcased.

Many such young kids desire for small or big! But how far it is achieved in an ethical manner, is what that builds this society.

I personally understood the value of the freebies that the Government provides.

With loads of curiosity to know the future generation and with loads of love to China kakka muttai 🙂

Identifying CORE career passion can reduce suicide rates!

This blog is dedicated for the aftermath of examination results, as many commit suicide believing that they have lost their dream career.

Kids are becoming efficient and evolving as stronger human beings, even before we as adults, begin to accept that their mental maturity is higher than what we expect.

In this case, why not discuss various career opportunities, which is evolving and booming and help them draw a future plan? Students will be more than willing to accept the reality when they are not stressed.

Plan A, Plan B and Plan C..!! An intricate and exhaustive plan.

For instance, if a child wants to become a doctor and the marks secured does not match, there is an alternative way.

Please do the Root Cause Analysis of any wish or desire that is born . Below is an example to do this.

Desiring to become a doctor can be derived from following logical reasons:

1. Interested in relieving fellow human beings from pain.

2. Interested in analyzing applicable drugs and combinations. Thus be a source of relief.

3. Knowing the anatomy and functions of Human body.

4. Aspiring to be a specialized surgeon (Ex: Orthopedist, Cardiologist)

5. Dedicating oneself for serving people (Not aspiring for high remuneration)

If the reason is to wear a white coat, use a stethoscope and what not, then, one should contemplate if they are serious about their aspiration?

From the above reasons, except for becoming a surgeon, many other career streams offer the possibility to make their dream come true (Ex: Pharmaceutical, psychologists, psychiatrists, genetic experts and so on). Now you can explore and plan for your passionate career. This is what we call as Plan A, B and C! The story does not end with this. One has to be ready to pursue and be mentally prepared for uncertainty.

Efforts have to be channelized in the right way. Nothing is dearer that one’s life. Emotional support can also be successful when one has a solution for the other.

Concrete planning and honest efforts taken to know oneself, can solve any problem! 🙂

What is the right order?

Understand- listen- judge… trust…? no.. no.. no…

Trust..Judge.. understand.. listen…??? (Does not seem right?)

Wait, let me explain 🙂

We have all been brought up in the environment of respecting elders, which is imbibed in our culture.

Okay, agreed!

We shall respect not just elders but even our younger ones. Does that mean that you should not correct a fellow human being (elders nor younger ones) from doing mistakes which can lead them to lose relationships and career?

That is not called as giving respect.

Here comes different perspectives: [All that I have sadly witnessed and heard from my peers and mentees]

  1. If I respect my elders, I should not correct them when they make mistakes. (Good and bad is derived from their gyan in to our heads) Still, no.. you are not supposed to tell even with due respect that their deeds can hurt someone
  2. Using technology is a crime, just because they don’t use it (Why do u fiddle with your phone?? 24/7??). When you do not use a particular technology, how difficult it becomes to explain what I am doing (The user’s mind voice)
  3. When you make a valid statement (suggestion), which by chance sounds better than what the elders have told, you are a arrogant child!! What an atrocious behavior?!!

Today, the world’s youngest CEO is a 12 year old with the grit and knowledge to develop mobile applications and runs his own firm.

TWIST NUMBER 1:

The saddest part of this trend is, parents fail to build something fundamental in their lives, towards their children- THE TRUST

Putting their life and soul, sacrificing day and night, compromising their small and big wishes for the little soul they had brought to this Earth, ultimately comes one day, parents tend to become narrow minded and judgmental to assess that their child can be only THIS (whatever opinion is on mind). You see, that is very easy.

Parents take great effort in building a child’s character. The child is brought up in certain surroundings. We can only mold the child. But it is always easy to understand without being judgmental. Why are we complicating this gifted bond?

TWIST NUMBER 2:

Parent tends to emphasize their decisions on their children which again is to simply sacrifice their children’ dreams and ambitions. Be it career or relationship. Is it for this reason that so much effort was put in to nurture a young soul?

Solution??

It is simple 🙂

Avoid being judgmental. Life becomes easy. Then you tend to listen. Then build trust. Then you have the rights to understand someone. (Yes, in that order only! ) 🙂 Please do not bring Ego in to any relationship.

Listen to human beings- be it young or old. After all, each one is Unique! 😉

Now do not think how old I should be… That is what you were reading all this while that it is not a matter of fact 🙂

POLLUTION – the new chimneys and cooling towers on wheels

Dedication from scooldudes for Earth Day

Neck pain for a 12 year old, knee pain for a 15 year old, headaches and asthma for a 6 year old. Muscles are already tired and exhausted.

There was a time when kids and youngsters were strong and as they grew older while crossing teenage, it was a scenario they always felt proud of being young, strong and healthy.

Today we get anything and everything with more than enough adulteration as food and supplements for the livelihood. And still they are expected to be Hemans and supermans, also superwomen,

Health is Wealth. This pollution that we live in today with, is deteriorating the stamina along with dreams, aspirations and some noble thoughts which can make the universe better.

Simple things can make the world better.

  • When you find an auto or a truck, or any vehicle for that instance, which can change your fabric color and alters your breathing process through its smoke, pick your sixth finger (Mobile phone) and dial to the pollution control authority and leave a message about the HIGH EMISSION/ Chimney vehicle. I suppose it was a silencer that was originally fixed.. Anyways!

  • Another tip, turn off your vehicle at signal and ensure that you save fuel and contribute less to the pollution rate. Also, please do service your vehicles.

Lets save our Mother Earth for our future generation to live happily and healthily!
